The terms governing your use of PicVideo — accounts, credits, ownership of what you upload and generate, and acceptable use

What these Terms cover

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PicVideo, an online AI image and video generation service available at picvideo.net. By creating an account or using PicVideo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What PicVideo does

PicVideo supports text-to-image, image-to-image, text-to-video and image-to-video workflows, including configured reference and start/end-frame modes. Available inputs, settings and model access depend on the selected configuration. Generation is performed using third-party AI models operated by outside providers, not by PicVideo itself.

Who can use PicVideo

You create an account by signing in with Google. You must provide accurate information via that sign-in process and are responsible for keeping your Google account secure, since it controls access to your PicVideo account.

You must be at least 18 to buy credits or take out a subscription. If you are under 18, you may use PicVideo only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian, and they must make any purchase. PicVideo is not intended for anyone under 13.

Credits, pricing, and subscriptions

Using PicVideo to generate images or videos costs credits. You can obtain credits by:

  • Receiving free credits when you sign up, check in daily or invite someone.
  • Buying a one-time credit pack.
  • Subscribing to a monthly or yearly plan, which grants credits monthly. Yearly plan cards show the full year’s credit total, delivered in 12 monthly grants rather than all at once.

Paid credits. Paid credits from every plan and credit pack never expire. This includes every monthly grant of a yearly plan. Unused paid credits roll over and stay in your balance after you cancel, and while you hold them they continue to work on paid models and paid settings. Credits that have already expired are not reinstated.

Free credits. Free credits expire on their own schedule: the sign-up gift and invitation rewards expire 30 days after they are granted, and daily check-in rewards expire at the next UTC midnight. Expired free credits are not reinstated, and free credits have no cash value.

Credits that expire soonest are used first, and paid credits that never expire are used last. Prices for credit packs and subscriptions are shown at checkout and may change going forward — if we change pricing, it will apply to future purchases or renewals, not to credits you have already bought.

Renewal and cancellation

A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings, which open the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: your plan stays active until then, and a yearly plan keeps delivering its monthly grants until its prepaid year ends. Cancelling does not by itself refund a payment.

Refunds

Our Refund Policy sets out the full rules. In summary:

  • 7-day rule. Each payment (a first subscription payment, a renewal, or a credit pack) can be refunded once if your request reaches us within 7 days of the payment and the credits used since that payment are no more than 10% of the credits it covers. For a credit pack that is the pack; for a monthly payment, that month's credits; for a yearly payment, one month's credits. Usage includes credits from every source, including reward credits; credits returned automatically after failed generations do not count. An approved refund is 90% of the amount paid, with the other 10% covering payment processing.
  • Requests by email only. Refunds are not available through self-service. Email our support address (see the contact page) from your account address with the subject "Refund Request". We reply within 5 business days, and approved refunds reach your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
  • Mistaken charges. Duplicate or mistaken charges are refunded in full once verified. Charges for upgrading partway through a period are reviewed individually.
  • Effect of a refund. A refunded subscription ends immediately and the credits remaining from that payment are removed. A refunded credit pack loses its remaining credits and the paid benefits it provided.
  • Not refundable. Free and reward credits; requests outside these rules, except where the law requires a refund; payments already under dispute; and accounts involved in fraud or abuse or terminated for breaching these Terms.

If a generation fails because of a technical problem at PicVideo or at an AI model provider, the credits held for that attempt are released back to your balance automatically. Successful generations consume credits even if you don't like the creative result, since AI output is variable by nature.

Nothing in these Terms affects the statutory rights you have as a consumer.

Payment disputes

If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us before raising a dispute or chargeback with your bank. While a dispute is open, the credits from the disputed payment are removed or suspended along with the paid features it unlocked. If the dispute is resolved in PicVideo's favour, we review the payment and restore the eligible credits and access; if it is resolved in your favour, the payment is treated as fully refunded. If a payment is refunded or reversed in any other way, PicVideo reverses the credits that payment granted.

Payment processing

Payments are handled by third-party payment processors. PicVideo does not see or store your full card number — that data goes directly to the payment processor. Your use of these payment services is also subject to that provider's own terms.

Who owns what

You retain your rights in the content you upload. You also own the images and videos PicVideo generates for you to the extent permitted by applicable law, subject to the rights of any underlying content you did not create yourself (see "Acceptable use" below).

To operate the service, you grant PicVideo a limited licence to store, process, and transmit your submitted content, including prompts and image, audio and video references — including sending the necessary inputs and results to third-party generation and content safety providers to generate your images or videos and enforce our content standards — and to display your uploads and generated images and videos back to you in your account. This licence exists only to run the service for you. PicVideo does not use your uploads or generated videos for advertising or marketing purposes, and does not grant itself any broader licence to your content, except for content you choose to make public as described below.

Content you choose to share. If you share a video on Explore, or submit a review, you grant PicVideo a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display and distribute that video or review — together with the prompt and the nickname, name or role you chose to show — on the PicVideo website, for as long as it stays shared. While a video is shared, any visitor can watch it and may save a copy of it. You can withdraw a shared video at any time; the licence then ends, apart from copies that browsers or our content delivery network may keep for up to 5 minutes. Withdrawing cannot recall copies that visitors saved while the video was public. To remove a published review, contact us. Sharing is always optional, every shared item is reviewed before it is published, and PicVideo may decline or remove any shared item at its discretion.

Acceptable use

PicVideo strictly prohibits adult/NSFW content and other harmful or unlawful uses. These restrictions apply to prompts, uploaded images, video or audio references, generated images and videos, and content shared through the service. They apply to both real and fictional subjects, including AI-generated, illustrated and animated content.

You must not use PicVideo to:

  • Create, upload or distribute pornography, explicit sexual activity, sexualized nudity or other sexually explicit or exploitative content.
  • Create or promote child sexual abuse material or the sexual exploitation of anyone under 18. This includes fictional or AI-generated depictions and attempts to evade safety checks.
  • Produce non-consensual intimate imagery, pornographic deepfakes, or intimate or defamatory depictions of identifiable people without their explicit consent.
  • Promote terrorism, incite violence, glorify extreme violence or gore, or encourage self-harm. Context matters: a legitimate educational or news discussion is different from encouragement or instructions to cause harm.
  • Promote hatred, discrimination or violence against a protected group, or use content to harass, stalk, bully or threaten a person.
  • Conduct fraud, phishing or impersonation, distribute malware or malicious links, or intentionally create deceptive content likely to cause public harm.
  • Infringe another person's copyright, trademark or other rights. You must have the rights and permissions required for the material you upload and the way you use the result.
  • Upload another identifiable person's image without their consent, or publicly share content showing an identifiable person without their consent. Public submissions showing minors are not accepted.
  • Bypass our content safety checks, gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts, disrupt the service, or use unauthorized automation, scraping or resale.
  • Use the service for an unlawful purpose, including activity that violates applicable sanctions or export-control requirements.

Content safety policy

Real-time automated screening

Content safety checks begin when you submit a generation request and run again before generated results can be delivered. We filter text prompts and use AI-powered checks for images and sampled video content. Checks cover adult/NSFW content and other supported harmful-content categories, such as violence, hate, harassment and self-harm, together with additional screening for observable malicious intent. A request or result that is blocked, or whose required checks cannot be completed, is not made available through the generation flow.

Automated systems can make mistakes or miss harmful content. Video analysis can use sampling and does not guarantee examination of every frame or complete transcription of every sound. Automated screening does not establish a person's age, consent, ownership rights or the truth of a claim. You remain responsible for complying with these Terms.

Manual review and reporting

Our team may manually review suspected violations, public submissions and reports, and may ask for context or evidence of consent or usage rights. If you believe content violates these Terms, or that a content safety check made a mistake, contact us with the relevant request details. We assess reports and decide what action is appropriate; submitting a report does not guarantee approval of a blocked request.

Warnings and graduated enforcement

A first violation may receive a formal content safety warning in the generation interface or from our team. Repeated violations may lead to temporary account suspension. Severe violations may lead to immediate permanent account termination and, where required by law, referral to the appropriate authorities. Actions depend on the circumstances, severity and history of the conduct and may be handled manually; these Terms do not promise a fixed automated strike count or suspension timetable.

PicVideo may refuse a request, withhold delivery, remove content or restrict access to enforce these standards. Input requests rejected before generation are not charged generation credits. If generated results are blocked by our content safety checks, credits held for that attempt are released back to your balance. These credit releases do not change the purchase-refund rules above or any statutory consumer rights.

Optional AI prompt help

"Improve prompt with AI" is a free, optional feature with fair-use limits per person and per day. It only rewrites the description you entered; you remain responsible for the prompt you finally use. PicVideo may change the limits or withdraw the feature at any time.

AI generation is not guaranteed

Generation depends on third-party AI model providers. PicVideo does not guarantee that any specific prompt or image will produce a particular result, that generation will always succeed, or that upstream providers will always be available. Output quality, style, and reliability can vary based on factors outside PicVideo's control.

No warranty

PicVideo is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. PicVideo does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated output will meet your expectations.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes PicVideo's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded — including your statutory rights as a consumer.

Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, PicVideo and its operators will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business, or data, arising from your use of the service. PicVideo's total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid to PicVideo in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in your own part of the UK: in Scotland, the Scottish courts; in Northern Ireland, the Northern Irish courts. If you are a consumer living outside the UK, this choice of law does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in.

Changes to these Terms

PicVideo may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and continuing to use PicVideo after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Each payment is assessed under the credit and refund terms in force on the day the payment was made.
